Our multi disciplinary Civil Engineering Team provides a wide range of services including design, construct, commissioning and maintenance.  Working with some of the largest UK Utility Providers and Local authorities we deliver the following services:

Drainage – main drainage including large diameter pipework and culverts, rising mains, sewer diversions, sewer requisitions, first time sewerage schemes, river and sea outfalls, tunnels and shafts, directional drilling, pumping stations including mechanical and electrical works, private drainage

Asset maintenance – sewer maintenance (24/7/365), sewer investigations, high pressure jetting, sewer lining, CCTV surveys, culvert repairs, river protection schemes (e.g. gabions, piles, reprofiling)

Roadworks – major highway works on trunk roads, highway maintenance, bridges, minor highways schemes such as widening, junction improvements, footpath and kerbing schemes, street lighting, surfacing and lining, cycle tracks, bridle tracks and remedial schemes to bring roads and footpaths to adoptable standards

Reinforced concrete – retaining walls and structures (precast, insitu, gabions, proprietary), storage tanks, CSO chambers including powered and non-powered screens and large concrete slabs

Environmental Improvements – Pedestrianisation schemes in town centres using a wide variety of materials, hard and soft landscaping

Other – Private railway works, estate roads and sewers, earthworks, steel framed buildings, fabrication works, large diameter water main diversions, fish farms, coast protection works

Design – In house design team supplemented by a local consultant who is part of our supply chain

Value Engineering – We offer a proactive value engineering and optioneering service with customers to give substantial cost savings

In addition to the traditional open cut method of working, Daniel makes extensive use of trenchless technology utilising our sister company Land and Marine Project Engineering, and innovative technology by using our sister companies Sub Terra and Pipeway to carry out in-situ spray lining and roll down pipe insertion methods.

Daniel contractors has the capability to carry out a full range of pipeline installations from small diameter PE rising mains through to large diameter welder steel and ductile iron trunk mains. The company has recently completed the installation of a 1000 and 900 dia ductile iron water main and refurbishment of a 1000 mm dia trunk main by utilising ‘Sub Terra’s’ sub line pipe refurbishment technique.

Utilising our internal Design department, together with resources brought in from outside supply chain partners, Daniel Contractors are able to offer our customers a comprehensive one stop design and installation service which will be delivered to industry standards in terms of quality and reliability and will complete the works from design through to testing and commissioning.

Utilising our internal plant department, we are able to provide a comprehensive list of specialist pipeline construction equipment from small excavators through to pipe payweldes and side booms.
