High Pressure Water Jetting is the most effective method for clearing and cleaning drainage lines and sewers. The process can be used to remove soft material and flush out the drain lines, it can also be utilised to remove hard substances such as cement and scale.
The methodology behind standard water jetting is simple. Powerful jets of water are produced by a pump developing pressures as low as 500 psi for flushing out soft material and pressures up to 4,000 psi to strip any scale deposits from the sides of the pipe, flush it away and leave the pipe in a clear and free flowing condition.
High Pressure Water jetting can be used in both domestic and commercial instances. In the commercial world, process pipe work needs to be kept clean and clear from obstructions. At worst, failure to do this could result in very expensive down time and a loss of business.
Ultra high pressure water jetting can also be used. This is a specialist piece of equipment where pressures of up to 30,000 psi can be reached. This is predominantly used for either removing or cutting through extremely solid materials such as concrete.
High pressure water jetting on its own is highly effective for cleaning duties and waste product removal such as boiler scale, milk scale, polymer resins and carbon deposits.
Daniel offers a preventative maintenance service that can save your business time and money. Our highly skilled teams use the latest technology to provide a fast response service 24 hours a day 365 days a year to ensure your infrastructure network responds on demand all year round.
The service begins with our Leakage Engineers who undertake an assessment of your network to determine the optimum location for our 24 hour Data Logging systems. The data collated is presented in a detailed report that provides an analysis of the network to establish the performance level of your below ground assets. The report includes recommendations for any necessary remedial works designed to prevent your network costing you large and unnecessary amounts of money.
In addition, we provide periodic efficiency surveys using the very latest technology to identify the smallest leaks before they become expensive mains bursts which can result in a significant loss of supply and business.
An inefficient or leaking water infrastructure can be of significant cost for any business if left unchecked. If you require a professional service to repair a leaking main or pipe, we have the resources to ensure your water network supply is restored to its full capacity with minimum downtime.
Daniel is a leading provider of pipe installation and rehabilitation using the very latest trenchless technologies. We have been renovating the water and waste water networks for our customers and clients for many years, offering a complete and comprehensive service.
Trenchless techniques are cost effective in saving both time and money and benefit the environment by not having to excavate long lengths of trenches. Such technology helps to maintain your business infrastructure without compromising your commitment to corporate responsibility.
We offer a suite of options when installing any size pipe, ranging from 25mm to 1200mm, utilising the very best in class trenchless techniques;
- Slip-line
- Pipe-bursting
- Directional Drilling
- Pipe Lining.
To ensure your water networks are best suited to your needs in terms of material and size, we also offer an in-house design service that ensures the installed pipe does not compromise on the performance of your business by developing value engineering solutions to complex problems.
At Daniel we undertake various types of lining dependant upon the degree of damage to the existing pipe and your requirements, from thermally cured Epoxy Resin systems (where hot water is used to harden the resins), to ambient temperature cure where the liner cures under normal conditions and time constraints are not a working factor.
We have the capability to line any pipe ranging from 75mm to 1200mm, the main advantages of pipe lining include;
- Minimal disruption that is often associated with the traditional trench excavation method
- Cost effective solution without compromising the long term benefits offered by the more traditional rehabilitation techniques such as an increase in pressure flows and enhancing water quality
- Rehabilitation solutions where excavations associated with other methods are restricted due to specific localised restrictions or depth of existing pipes
In addition to pipe lining, we also offer several other non-intrusive alternatives to excavation such as Localised Structural Repairs (LSR) or “Patch Liners”. The lining service we offer is supported by our pipe CCTV service, which enables us to undertake intensive site investigation to ensure we determine the exact cause of any defects and to allow us to propose the most cost effective solution to suit your needs.
